​Principal Investigator
Demographic Consequences of the Zika Epidemic (Decode Zika) - studies the impact of the Zika epidemic on reproductive health, fertility, and other demographic processes in Brazil. Funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), the study will provide vital information regarding the long-term implications of Zika on Brazilian women and their families.

"Educational inequalities, work transitions and social inclusions in Brazil" 
Project goals: 1) elaborate a complete list of the languages spoken in Brazil together with a geographic presentation of where they are spoken; 2) estimate the levels of fertility and child mortality in the different segments of the indigenous population; and 3) describe the educational attainment and schooling enrollment of the indigenous population, as well as several of the key determinants of those outcomes.
